Plane from Frederick crashes in Kentucky
A plane traveling from Frederick to Mississippi crashed in eastern Kentucky Tuesday evening, the Lexington Herald-Leader reports.
The plane was spotted by Civil Air Patrol workers in a remote area, but it took rescue crews hours to get to the scene, just after 5:30 p.m.
The plane is registered to Island Trading Ltd. of Woodbine. Two people were thought to be on board.
Officials said the coroner was called to the site about 9 p.m.
