Police ID Md. woman's body found in O.C.

By Washington Post editors

Ocean City police have identified the body recovered from the ocean over the weekend as that of a Lanham woman, The Baltimore Sun reports.

Police say the woman as Tara Chanise Taylor, 32.

Officers were called to the beach about 2 a.m. Saturday for a report of a missing person. There they found a friend performing CPR on Taylor. Taylor appeared to have just been in the ocean, police said.

She was taken to a hospital in Berlin where she was pronounced dead.

Police said they are investigating the incident, but Taylor's death is not believed to be suspicious.
