Police investigating homicide in Riverdale

Prince George's police are investigating a homicide in Riverdale, WUSA 9 reports.
Police were called to the 5400 block of 56th Place about 1:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
