Pr. George's form new panel

By Miranda S. Spivack

Howard University Law School Dean Kurt Schmoke, a former Baltimore mayor, and former Prince George's County Circuit Court Judge William D. Missouri will lead a task force on government accountability and integrity in Prince George's County.

The appointments were announced late Monday by County Executive Rushern L. Baker III.

In a statement, Baker said the two men, along with other panel members he has not yet named, will review county government procedures, examine the possibility of establishing an inspector general's office, and look at other jurisdictions' best practices.

Baker (D), who took office Dec. 6, ran on a platform of increasing government accountability and transparency.

I have been in this county for over 45 years and I have seen a lot. I do not expect to see much from the ethic boys. They have already been drinking from the baker cup. They will not get to the bottom of anything. But they will use the friendly media. Prove us wrong ethics boys. I want to see what the ehtics boys will do about the planned takeover of pg county by the labor unions. The labor unions have massive amounts of money that they bring in from out of state to control the elected leadership in pg county. In the last election, the labor unions poured hundreds of thousands of dollars from New York and other places to unseat two incumbent pg state senators, David Harrington and Nathaniel Exum. They did not just support the new puppets Joanne Benson and Victor Ramirez, they hand picked Rushern Baker and others who were elected. State delegates Justin Ross, Paul Pinskey, and Gerron Levi are employed by labor unions and as a result will not be transparent.
Justin has a proposed bill that that would prohibit pg councilmen from taking contributions from pg developers. If the campaign money does not come from the developers it must be coming from the labor unions. Even Hellen Keller can see that they are hatching a plan to make the labor unions the new power brokers of pg county. PG county has a failing hospital system that lacks the desired delivery of care that pg county people require. In spite of this failed system the financial albatross that has brought down this once excellent facility is the unfunded pension. There is a pension debt that has financially destroyed the hospital. This debt is never discussed by Baker others who purport to be the visionary leaders of PG county. If we are on the path to greatness, we need honesty. They all should be honest to proclaim that a major part of the financial problems of the PG hospital is due to the unfunded pensions. How many millions of debt are we at right now with that? If we were not bogged down with that debt we would have more money for roads an stuf.

New police chief Mark Magaw is a 27-year veteran of the force and he was the czar of the illegal blitzkrieg raid and execution of Berwyn Heights Mayor, Cheye Calvo's two dogs. And he was one of the white shirts who condoned the beatings and mistreatment of PG county citizens of whom many were the minority citizens. This is not change.

P. Michael Errico, the new Chief Administrative Officer “He started working for the county in 1971, and has previously led the public works department and was deputy chief administrative officer under former county executive Wayne Curry. While in that role, his wife was hired by Comcast while Errico was leading negotiations for the county with a rival cable company. Errico recused himself and left the job two months later.
WHo were the big money sponsors of the Baker Ball at the Gaylord? WHo has that kind of money/ Ethics boys you need to do your job and restore our trust in pg. Do your jobs would you.

Is the new CoEx going to do any work or is he going to push everything to commissions and special committees to figure out... after all he said he already had the answers, not elect me and I'll convene a million commissions to study the problems...
