Pr. Geo.'s elementary student dies
A student at a Prince George's County elementary school has died, WTOP reports.
Paramedics were called to J. Frank Dent Elementary School in Fort Washington about 10 a.m. Monday where a sixth-grade girl was in medical distress. Paramedics performed CPR before taking the girl to a local hospital, where she later died.
Police are investigating the incident.
A letter sent home to parents of students at the school says the child's death was not the result of an accident, but did not elaborate further.
