Scattered BGE outages through Monday
Baltimore Gas and Electric says scattered outages may extend into Monday from high winds that knocked out power to more than 93,000 customers.
BGE says service was expected to be restored to the vast majority of its customers by Sunday evening. The utility reported on its web site that about 800 customers were without power early Sunday afternoon.
The utility, which serves central Maryland, says about 1,300 BGE, contract and out-of-state personnel worked through the weekend to restore power.
