Hyattsville fire claims 2nd sister
The Hyattsville house fire that claimed the life of a 9-year-old girl has now claimed the life of her sister.
Prince George's County Fire and EMS say Kelli Hernandez, 13, died Tuesday. Her sister, Kimberly Hernandez, died several hours after the start if the Jan. 19 fire.
Seven people were in the home, in the 4700 block of 40th Avenue, when the fire broke out in the early morning hours.
Prince George’s County Fire Investigators believe the fire to be “accidental” in nature.
