Teen dies after being hit by vehicle
A 16-year-old teenager has died after being struck by a vehicle in District Heights Tuesday night, WTOP reports.
The girl, whose name has not yet been released, was struck about 9:44 p.m. while walking near Marlboro Pike at Tanow Place. The driver remained on the scene.
Police said speed and alcohol were not factors in the accident.
