Teen arrested in Ocean City cab robberies
Ocean City police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with two robberies of cabdrivers.
The Ocean Pines youth was arrested Saturday and is charged with armed robbery and other offenses. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
Police say a cabdriver picked up two males early Thursday in Ocean Pines and drove them to Ocean City. There, he was assaulted and robbed of money and other items.
Police said a similar robbery was reported Thursday night in Ocean Pines.
