Video: Metrobus veers onto Md. lawn
A Metrobus ended up on a Silver Spring home's lawn after rear-ending a truck Wednesday afternoon, according to an ABC 7 News report.
The truck driver was hospitalized after the crash that forced the bus to veer across several lanes of traffic and a sidewalk on Colesville Road near Woodmoor Circle, the report said.
A teenage boy was in the home alone when the crash happened. "I'm just fortunate," said Bhre Sumitro, 15.
The bus driver, who was not injured, was charged with failure to control speed to avoid collision.
There were no passengers on the bus.

Luckily there were no passengers aboard the bus...but this just goes to prove what I always said. I'd rather get there late and still be alive, then have the driver speed like a maniac just to try and get there on time.
