McDonnell picks transportation secretary

Gov.-elect Bob McDonnell will announce today Sean Connaughton will serve as his transportation secretary. He also is expected to announce that Deputy Attorney General Lisa Hicks-Thomas will serve as his Secretary of Administration and Agriculture Commissioner Todd Haymore will serve as his Secretary of Agriculture, according to sources close to McDonnell.
McDonnell (R) has scheduled a noon news conference in Richmond to announce the three Cabinet posts.
