Man charged with fondling suspected in other incidents
A 43-year-old man has been charged with fondling three women on the campus of Anne Arundel Community College and is being looked at as a suspect in incidents at four other campuses, WJLA reports.
Anne Arundel County police say some of the victims identified Dori Joseph Costa, 43, as their attacker. Costa, a mid-level manager at Constellation Energy, was charged with three counts of fourth-degree sex offense and three counts of second-degree assault. Costa was held on $100,000 bond, WJLA reported.
The investigation began March 8, when a 19-year-old woman told campus security a man had fondled her while she sat in her car. The man had asked her for directions, placing a map book on her lap. When she tried to help him, he touched her inappropriately and walked away, police said.
Two other women reported similar incidents that day, police said.
When Anne Arundel County police sent out bulletin about the crimes, they received a call from a University of Maryland police investigator.
