Md. man drowned after fall from boat
A 37-year-old Maryland man was presumed drowned off the Eastern Shore on Monday after falling into Tangier Sound from his 32- foot fishing boat, authorities said.
Brian L. Wagner, of Salisbury, fell from the boat about 6 p.m. near the Wenona Boat Harbor in Somerset County, the Maryland natural resources police said.
They said the other person on the boat tried to retrieve Wagner but was unable to do so. The police said Tuesday that Wagner, who was not wearing a life jacket, was missing and presumed drowned.
