Md. Marine killed in Afghanistan
Military officials said that Cpl. Kurt S. Shea, a 21-year-old Marine from Frederick, Md., died on Monday in Afghanistan.
Shea was killed in Helmand province. Department of Defense officials provided no additional details on how he was killed.
Shea was assigned to 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune.
