Md. woman charged with disrupting flight
A Maryland woman has been charged with disrupting an overnight flight from San Francisco to Dulles International Airport, the Frederick News-Post reports.
Maria Rita Mazoni apparently screamed and pushed her way to the front of United Flight 142, after she became convinced there were terrorists aboard the March 29 flight, according to charging documents. Mazoni, who worked at the National Cancer Institute at Frederick, eventually had to be subdued by two male passengers and the plane was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Omaha.
