Metrobus driver fired

By Washington Post editors

A Metrobus driver who was arrested for soliciting sex from an undercover police officer while driving his bus has been fired, the Washington Examiner reports.

Shawn W. Todd had been on paid administrative leave since he was arrested in the early morning hours of April 3, as first reported in the Examiner. Todd was driving a D12 bus to Southern Avenue when he allegedly pulled the bus over and offered the undercover officer $10 for sex.

More to come from Gray, who will be worst than Fenty. For all those who think not, I live in Ward 7, had dealings with Gray. The man was no better than Kevin P. Chavous.

Now there's a recession for you. $10? I hope he was arrested for insulting her (albeit undercover)standards. I hope the world's oldest profession is making more than that.

$10? Is that what sex goes for in SE? Bus drivers are paid enough to be able to afford more than that. Though the whole idea of paying for sex is weird to me...there are plenty of people happy to give it away for free.

One would hope that for $10 he wouldn't be late on his route.

No kidding! $10 is all he offered? He should be arrested just for being cheap.

Glad he was fired. We don't need these low life scum to be working for metro.

$10? His attorney should have claimed the driver was kidding. He was driving a bus not a car. If the lady was a real prost what was he going to do? Pull over to the side of the street, turn off the lights, and have sex on the floor of the bus. The undercover lady should have been insulted that he thought she was only worth $10.
