Michel Richard's latest venture? Airplane food
Celebrated Washington chef Michel Richard, known for fusing fine dining with the playfulness of a toymaker at must-dine spots Citronelle and Central, is taking on a new cooking challenge. This summer, Richard will try his hand at --- airplane food, The Washington Business Journal reports.
Richard has signed on with OpenSkies, British Airways' all-business class airline (where roundtrip fares start at $1,650.) Washington's celebrated chef will develop menus for the airline's Washington to Paris flights set to launch this summer.
Richard is no stranger to meals-on-the-go. He is a culinary adviser for Amtrak.
