MoCo woman killed in I-70 accident
Maryland State Police say a Damascus woman is dead after her car collided head-on with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 70 near Frederick.
Police say 49-year-old Jennifer Owens was killed about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday.
They say her 2005 Acura entered the highway from Route 85, going the wrong way down an exit ramp into the westbound lanes.
Police say the car was hit by a tractor-trailer driven by a 53-year-old man from Lahmansville, W.Va.
The westbound lanes of I-70 were closed for three hours after the collision.
