Nearly 600 couples to renew vows in D.C.
Nearly 600 couples will renew their marriage vows at a Mass celebrated by Washington Archbishop Donald Wuerl at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
The 584 couples expected to attend Sunday afternoon's Mass have been married as long as 68 years. They are from Washington and suburban and southern Maryland Catholic parishes.
The renewal of vows will take place after the homily.
