New judge to hear Wone case

By Washington Post editors

The Post's Keith Alexander reports that a new D.C. Superior Court judge will oversee the trial involving three former Dupont Circle roommates who were charged with obstruction of justice in the 2006 slaying of attorney Robert Wone. D.C. Superior Court Judge Lynn Leibovitz will oversee the trial, according to a ruling by Chief Judge Lee F. Satterfield made public Monday. Read more here.

Wone, a young Ivy League educated attorney, was stabbed to death while a guest in a Dupont Circle townhouse shared by the three men in 2006. Nobody has been charged in the case. Here's a link to The Post's extensive coverage of the Wone case.

I hope justice is finally carried out in this case. It's been far too long.
