No new vouchers for D.C. students
A proposed omnibus spending bill will keep the D.C. voucher program closed to new students but open to current ones. Additional accountability measures also are planned.
According to Weekly Standard magazine, The Washington Scholarship Fund, the group that runs the program will pull out at the end of the school year, raising questions about how the scholarships will be administered next year. Stay with washingtonpost.com/local for more details.
