Gov. O'Malley, other lawmakers flee bar fire
Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley and other Annapolis lawmakers were forced to flee an Annapolis bar Thursday night after a fire broke out, Maryland Politics reports.
The group had been at a party at O'Brien's on Main Street, celebrating freshman legislators. House Speaker Michael E. Busch was also among at least 50 lawmakers who rushed out of the smoky building about 11:15 p.m.
There did not appear to be any injuries in the incident.
