By Washington Post Editors

Anne Arundel County police say they are looking for information about a shooting in which a man says he was struck while a passenger in a car on Route 100 near Glen Burnie.

Police say the man told officers he was stuck in the leg about 1:45 a.m. Sunday on Route 100 eastbound near Interstate 97. Police say the man later sought treatment at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, about 45 miles south of Glen Burnie.

Police say the two other occupants of the vehicle were not injured and the bullet apparently entered the right, front passenger door of the vehicle.

The NRA's regional manager tells us this would not have happened if the victim'd had
an unconcealed pistol.
