Police car in collision with 2nd vehicle
Updated, 11:57 p.m.
An unmarked Fairfax County police car was in a collision Friday night with another vehicle, injuring the drivers of both, county police said.
The incident occurred about 9:20 p.m. at Rolling Road and Parliament Drive in the Springfield/Burke area, said police spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell.
She said the police car was answering a call about a burglary in progress. Its light and siren were on, she said.
The occupants' injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The unmarked police car normally carried a police dog. It was not clear what happened to the dog.

"Police car in collision with 2nd vehicle"
This is truly excellent writing. I'm glad the "writer" mentioned that there was a collision with a "2nd vehicle" since a vehicle cannot have a collision with itself.
