Pot growing operation at Va. day care
Suffolk police have uncovered a marijuana-growing operation at a home day care.
Suffolk spokeswoman Debbie George says officers responding to a domestic dispute at the home Saturday encountered a man who was carrying two canisters of marijuana. George says the man acknowledged that he'd grown it.
George says the officers searched the home and found a hydroponic growing operation. She says charges are expected against at least one person.
The residents' two children, a 3-year-old and a 9-month-old, were home at the time, but no children from the day care were there.
