Prince George's County homicides in 2011
Map updated, Jan. 29, 11:50 a.m. : A man was shot to death in the parking lot of a Prince George's County meeting hall early Saturday, Jan. 29, the 16th homicide of 2011 for the county.
Police have stepped up efforts to curb the outbreak of deadly violence that has provoked concern and alarm in the suburban jurisdiction.
