Remains identified as missing VaTech student

By Washington Post editors

Human remains found Tuesday on a farm southwest of Charlottesville have been conclusively identified as those of Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington, who went missing after an Oct. 17 rock concert, police said.

The 20-year-old education major was last seen after she was separated from friends outside a Metallica concert at the University of Virginia’s John Paul Jones arena. A farmer found her remains in a remote hayfield on Tuesday. Crime Scene has the details.
