Rockville man sentenced in bomb case
Collin McKenzie-Gude, 20, who pleaded guilty last year to possessing bombmaking chemicals kept in his bedroom closet, was sentenced to 61 months in prison Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt.
That sentence does not include an additional 17 months already served in Montgomery County prison for which Judge Peter J. Messitte credited him. McKenzie-Gude, of Rockville, still faces sentencing for a 2008 attempted carjacking, to which he also has pleaded guilty. The Crime Scene blog has the story.
