SE man fatally shot near home

A 36-year-old Southeast Washington man was fatally shot Friday a few blocks from his home, D.C. police said.
They said Rico Matthews of 4th Street SE was found about 2 p.m. in the 4000 block of First Street SE, in the Washington Highlands area.
No information about any motive or suspects was available.
