Search resumes for missing fisherman
Authorities say they have resumed their search for a Gaithersburg man who is presumed to have drowned in the Potomac River near Sandy Hook, across from Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
Maryland Natural Resources Police say 37-year-old Daniel Figueroa was fishing with another man Saturday when they tried to swim from one rock to another to reach a better spot.
Sgt. Art Windemuth says the rapids there are so treacherous that the Natural Resources Police decided against sending in a dive team.
