Sketch released of suspect in sex assault

By Washington Post editors

D.C. police released a sketch Saturday of a man suspected of sexually assaulting a Georgetown University student in April.

Police said that at about 2 a.m. April 16, a man with a handgun approached a 19-year-old student as she walked alone on the 3300 block of Prospect Street NW. He fondled and sexually assaulted the woman at gunpoint before fleeing.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Detective Carmichael at 202-727-3700, the Command Information Center at 202-727-9099 or 888-919-CRIME (888-919-2746).

Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to D.C. Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS and to the department’s tip line by text messaging 50411. If the information provided leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Can't hurt to post a sketch of the perp I guess.

Please note that I am NOT making a comment about his race.

just from the sketch, I can tell he is a democrat and an obama voter who thinks the world owes him a living.

Today, Mother's Day, there is a rally on the Ellipse at 11 am to protest violence against women and children and the way victims of violence are treated in the court system.

The presumption of innocence is unduly applied to perpetrators of domestic violence, rape and murder of women and children, making the victim the criminal. One need only look at the courts in Virginia. In 2 days time, a rapist was sentenced to 1 week, a man who murdered his baby to 1 year, but a car thief was sentenced to 33 years.

Violence, rape and murder of women and children are allowed to continue and is supported by the courts. It costs less to support victims on taxpayer money than to incarcerate the perpetrators of violence against them. Given the value of a car, this makes a baby's life worth less than $500 per year in the average life span.

The above mentioned sentences were handed out in courts in Hampton Roads.

Virginia's motto: Virginia is for lovers
It should read: Virginia is for lovers of domestic violence, rape and murder of women and children.

A true playa doesn't need to sexually assault women.
