Sudden thunderstorms caught on video
Fast-moving thunderstorms battered the Washington region Thursday morning leaving tens of thousands without power, stranding motorists and disrupting public transit. Some local YouTube users caught the storm on video, which you can watch after the jump.
We've collected some videos from the violent storms that battered DC. If you shot (or know of) any videos we should add to the player, please leave the youtube URL in the comments.

That storm is very similar to those that occur Houston (Texas), but when I lived in Washington, DC never had anything like it in winter only major snowstorms.

Esa tormenta se parece mucho a las que suceden Houston (Texas),pero cuando yo viví en washington, D.C nunca hubo algo parecido sino sólo en Invierno las grandes tormentas de Nieve.
