Suspicious package in NW cleared
Update, 10:45 a.m.
Police report that the suspicious package has been cleared.
Previous post:
The Post's Get There blog reports that a police investigation of a suspicious package at 14th and K streets NW has prompted Metro to close the McPherson Square entrance on 14th Street. The Vermont Avenue entrance remains open.
Trains on the Blue and Orange lines do not appear to be affected. However, traffic cameras show that 14th Street between I (eye) and K is closed to vehicle traffic.
