Girl shot, hurt in Northeast
A girl was shot and wounded Friday night in Northeast Washington, D.C. police said.
The shooting occurred about 9 p.m. at 49th and Meade Streets, according to police.
Police said they were looking for two people, dressed all in black clothing.
The victim was taken to a hospital with a wound that did not appear to be life-threatening, police said. Her exact age was not immediately known, but according to one account she had not yet reached her teens.
