Braddock Rd. shift over Beltway

By Washington Post editors

A new bridge taking Braddock Road traffic over the Capital Beltway is scheduled to open Thursday after rush hour as part of the HOT lanes project, Dr. Gridlock reports.

At 9:30 a.m., if the work goes according to schedule, the Virginia Department of Transportation will shift westbound traffic to the new Braddock Road (Route 620) bridge over the Beltway. The shift will be completed by 3:30 p.m.
