Cyclist, driver killed in Fairfax accident
A bicyclist was killed and another was injured Friday when the driver of a vehicle left the road near Lee Highway and Forum Drive and struck the cyclists.
A Fairfax County police official said the driver of the vehicle also died.
The cyclist were on a bike path about 4 p.m. when they were struck, said a police official.
Route 29 is shut down in both directions. Motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
