Pedestrian struck, killed in Md.

A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Charlotte Hall Tuesday night, Maryland State Police said.
The victim was entering the street from a median at about 10:47 p.m. when she was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Three Notch Road/Route 235 south of Oaks Road, police said.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
