A major stretch of Skyline Drive reopened Sunday in Shenandoah National Park after being closed for a week because of a fire, the park said.
Also, all park trails that had been closed because of the Smith Run fire have reopened, the park said.
The park reported on Feb. 19 that the fire had closed Skyline Drive for the 31 miles between Front Royal and Route 211.
