Two injured in car crash in the District

The D.C. Fire and EMS department is reporting that two people were injured in a single-car crash at New Jersey Avenue and Q Street NW after the car hit a pole and caught fire. The two had to be removed from the vehicle by firefighters and were taken to a hospital.
