Fed. workers: unscheduled leave Tues.
Federal workers can take unscheduled leave or telework Tuesday because of the chance of winter weather, according the federal Office of Personnel Management. OPM will update the operating status as needed and appropriate. This may include a delayed arrival on Tuesday morning. OPM will continue to monitor conditions closely and will make that decision as soon as possible. For full coverage of the storm, see the Capital Weather Gang.

The subway is your best option. Or telework.

Something to keep in mind re snow & the subway:
Metrorail will operate very close to a normal schedule in snowfall of up to 6 inches. However once snow reaches a depth of 8 inches, Metrorail may suspend service above ground.

Sounds like a tacit admission by OPM that they may have dropped the ball last week.
