Va. man wanted in attempted abduction
Authorities are searching for a Springfield man who they say tried to abduct the mother of his children.
The Loudoun County sheriff's office says it has arrest warrants charging 34-year-old Carlos Alberto Bonilla with abduction, destruction of property and two counts of violation of a protective order.
Authorities say Bonilla entered a Sterling home late Wednesday and tried to take the 45-year-old mother of his children and force her into his vehicle. Sheriff's spokesman Kraig Troxell said someone called police, and when Bonilla found out, he stopped struggling with the woman and she was able to escape.
Bonilla got away before authorities arrived.
