2 Va. teachers honored by Obama
Two Virginia teachers are being honored by President Barack Obama.
Bristow's Kimberly Morrow-Leong and Arlington's Dat Le are among 103 teachers across the country named to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. The White House announced the awards Monday.
Morrow-Leong teaches math, while Le teaches science.
They're each going to get $10,000 from the National Science Foundation and a trip to Washington, D.C. for an awards ceremony.
