Alexandria fire injures one
One person was taken to Washington Hospital Center following a fire in Alexandria Thursday night, WUSA9 reports.
Some residents of a high rise condominium at 501 Slater's Lane had to be evacuated about 11:30 p.m. while firefighters worked to put out a blaze in the unit where the victim was found.
The residents were allowed to return to the building after midnight. The condition of the victim was not known.
