Arlington launches live snow map
Arlington took a page out of our very own Daily Gripe on Tuesday, launching a live snow complaint map for its residents.
The map allows residents to enter a specific address where sidewalks need plowing or clearing, or are icy. It is part of the county's larger effort to enforce a snow removal ordinance for the first time, which requires property owners to clear snow or ice within 24 or 26 hours after a storm. Fines range from $50 to $100.
Try out the map here.
