Clinton visit to VMI postponed
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's appearance at Virginia Military Institute has been postponed until the fall.
Clinton was scheduled to receive VMI's Distinguished Diplomat Award on Wednesday. The school said Monday that the event will be rescheduled because Clinton is participating in a memorial service for civil rights pioneer Dorothy Height in Washington, D.C.
Height died April 20 at Howard University Hospital.
VMI says its event honoring Clinton likely will be held in October.
