Fatal car crash in Fairfax County

A vehicle crashed into a tree Tuesday night in Fairfax County, leaving at least one person dead, county police said.
The incident occurred about 10 p.m. at Compton Road and Luton Hill Way in the Centreville/Clifton area of the county.

the roads in that area, especially clifton, are really dangerous. many have no shoulders, no sidewalks, no street lights... but with steady traffic going 45 or 55 with tight curves. i know you're trying to keep the "rural feel" but that area has reached the point where it has suburban density. the current kind of infrastructure there really only works when you have no one around for miles and when it's truly rural.
