Missing hiker found in Virginia
Rescue authorities have found a 20-year-old hiker who fell off a 10-foot cliff in Roanoke County and was unable to find his way back to his car.
County officials said the man was located about 10 a.m. Monday in Montgomery County. Rescue crews used helicopters and tracking dogs to find him after he reported that he was lost Sunday on Poor Mountain after falling and suffering minor cuts.
County spokeswoman Jennifer Sexton says crews plan to transport him to a local hospital for examination.
