Outage forces Alexandria students to move

By Washington Post editors

Mount Vernon Community School lost power Friday morning. Students are being bused to other schools.

Students who normally take the bus to Mount Vernon should do so as usual. Students who walk or who are dropped off also should report to the school. Buses will then take students in grades K-2 to Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology. Students in grades 3-5 will be taken to George Washington Middle School.

At the end of the day, buses will take students back to Mount Vernon.
