Pentagon, museum shootings connected

The FBI has announced that shots fired at the National Museum of the Marine Corps and the Pentagon earlier this month were fired from the same weapon.

A third shooting, which took place overnight on Oct. 25 or 26 at the Marine Corps Recruiting Station in Chantilly is also being investigated as connected to the previous two incidents, the FBI said.
