Pot bust in Pocomoke
Maryland State Police have seized 75 pounds of marijuana and arrested two Virginia men after a traffic stop near Pocomoke.
Twenty-four-year-old Darnell Kelley and 40-year-old Modis Chandler, both of Newport News, have been charged with possession of more than 50 pounds of marijuana and other drug offenses. Each is being held on $100,000 bond.
Troopers say the men's car was speeding about 7 p.m. Wednesday on Route 13 at Old Virginia Road. The car was stopped and a drug dog team from the Princess Anne Barracks was called. The dog alerted for drugs in the car, and two duffle bags containing the marijuana were found.

What a waste of police resources. I am so sick of the war on drugs. Pot is harmless. I wonder if they'll raid wal-marts for the dangerous substances the FDA loves to approve because Monsanto pays lobby "fees."
